Most hospitals don’t know their inpatient breaking point.

Not their census. Not their staffing model. Not their productivity target.

Their true performance breaking point.

That is the point where patient load begins to negatively impact length of stay, mortality, throughput, and provider capacity.

Many organizations only recognize the problem after performance has already declined. By then, the system is reacting.

But....

At what point does performance begin to shift?

That number should drive staffing decisions, throughput strategy, and leadership escalation.

If an organization does not know its breaking point, it is managing capacity by assumption.

Catalyst Clinical Advisors takes the guess work out of capacity management through our Clinical Throughput Intelligence (CTI)™
